Horizontal type. Fitted with transparent top in bakelite-case, all components are visible, with two 4mm socket terminals.

Moving coil type. Basic sensitivity of meter is 5mA, 100mV f.s.d. The meters can be used to demonstrate the working principle of AC or DC ammeters or voltmeters with interchangeable dials. Different dials are available. Housed in a Plastic/Wooden case, with plastic in front and rear.

For use with interscale demonstration meters. Each dial comprises a laminated plastic panel with sealed moulded box at one end which contains the shunt or voltage multiplier appropriate to the scale.

It is used to compare currents or to determine Value of “H” (Horizontal component of earth field) if current is known. It consists of a Bakelite ring dia. 16cm approx. wound with 3 coils of 2, 50 and 500 turns of insulated copper wire. Compass Box is mounted at center of the ring and both can rotate independent of the base. Provided with terminals to put either of the three coils in circuit at a time. Base is supported on three leveling screws.
