Radiant Heat Source, Low Voltage (P-2510)

The 12 V, 100 W heating coil wound on ceramic plate and is assembled between two insulated plates with aperture and two 4 mm sockets. Complete assembly is mounted on 150 x 8 mm rod.

 


Crooke’s Radiometer (P-2520)

Partly evacuated glass bulb 65 mm diameter containing a set of 4 mica vanes mounted on a pivot, one side of each vane blackened and reverse side is kept bright. When exposed to sunlight or bright lamp, the rotor rotates rapidly. Mounted on stand.

 


Leslie Cube (P-2525)

Sheet metal cube 125 mm side. The four faces of box are dull black, bright black, white and bright with opening at top.

 


Thermoscope Ether (P-2535)

To detect heat radiation, made of glass with bulbs approx. 30 mm, diameter, one bulb painted matt black, partially filled with ether.

 


Thermopile, Copper-Constantan (P-2550)

It consists of 12 pairs of Bismuth and Antimony bars joined together in series with insulation between them. The couples thus arranged are enclosed in a brass frame having two terminals connected to the Bismuth and Antimony poles. Complete with nickel plated brass cone and mounted on an adjustable stand.
